Nose
Pure ripe blueberry, blackberry and plum are elevated by subtle frankincense, exotic spice and white flower notes.
Palate
On the palate, this wine rivals some vintages of our Reserve Cabernet, while somehow still maintaining the ethereal character that we all love in our Cabernet Franc.
Growing Conditions
The blend includes 10% merlot from our Rocky Top vineyard block (the first block of merlot to be harvested, in late September of 2013) which adds richness to the wine and 7% cabernet sauvignon from our Rock Arch vineyard block (the backbone of our Reserve Cabernet) which allows the finish to stretch on and on.
