Nose

Aromas of vanilla, yellow flowers and lemon tart invite you to discover intense notes of passion fruit and guava.

Palate

The palate is big, with a creamy mouth-feel. The end is fresh with the acidity enhancing the guava and mineral; lengthy finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2015 vintage is going to be known as the Fast and Furious vintage in Napa. The growing season started out with unseasonably warm temperatures in the late winter and early spring. This resulted in an early bud break and bloom. Colder temperatures in May (during the peak of bloom) caused uneven fruit set which ultimately resulted in a much smaller crop, compared to previous years.

Harvest

The harvest was one of the earliest on record. While ongoing drought was of great concern to farmers around California, Napa Valley received 75% of normal rainfall for the year, quelling water concerns for Napa Valley's vintners.
