Nose
The 2012 Intrada opens with a delicate perfume of yellow flowers, jasmine and orange blossoms.
Palate
On the palate, the wine showcases finely balanced notes of juicy stone fruits and Asian pear that mingle with citrus notes of grapefruit and lime peel - ending with a hint of savory herbs. The underlying minerality and sur lie aging combine harmoniously for a full-bodied texture. The creamy, yet crisp finish is long and full of surprises.
Aging
Six months in neutral French oak. Aged sur lie with weekly battonage.
