Nose
he 2014 Intrada shows elegant aromas of guava, grass, stone fruit, lemon peel and white flowers.
Palate
Crispy and fresh but full bodied with a silky finish. Balanced on the palate with ample minerality and a crisp, and long lemon pie aftertaste.
Growing Conditions
The season was definitely influenced by warm temperatures with foggy, wet mornings. Perfect conditions with an ideal spring bud break. We carefully monitored each block to assure quality. Ripeness was reached earlier than usual. Flavors and aromas are greener and more citrusy.
Aging
Sur Lie, stirred twice a week. 27% aged in stainless steel, 21% aged in French oak, 52% aged in concrete egg.
