It has a velvety attack and a rich mouthcoating mid-palate full of umami. The finish is extremely long with echoes of fruit and chewy tannins. This profound Cabernet will continue to improve through 2024 given proper cellaring.

The 1997 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark garnet color.
