Nose
It has an intense nose of cassis, violets and roasting nuts.
Palate
It has a voluptuous attack, an excellent fruit-laden mid-palate and a long finish with fine grained tannins. It will continue to improve through 2027, given proper cellaring.
Appearance
The 2001 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a ruby-red color.
