Nose
It has an intense nose of cassis liqueur, dried figs and chocolate.
Palate
It has a very concentrated attack, a mouthcoating mid-palate and a long finish with a slight tannic grip. This wine will continue to improve through 2026, given proper cellaring.
Appearance
The 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a dark garnet color.
