Nose

Palate

The flavors echo the aromas with a deep texture. Tremendously clean. Great summer style refreshingly distinctive. Palate- mouth water quality, rich lime peel citrus. Drinkable now. Sauvignon Blanc ages well for 6 years!

Growing Conditions

The Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes were grown in Pope Valley at an elevation 715 feet on the Whisky River Ranch using sustainable farming practices. Hot daytime temperatures ripen the fruit to perfection and cool 55 degree nights maintain beautiful acidity.
The vintage year of 2013 had the perfect in number of heat days and dry warm harvest weather, which leads to stellar wines.

Winemaking

The grapes at harvest were simply delicious that is heightened by pure stainless steel fermentation to preserve clean, crisp finish notes.

Aging

Stainless steel fermented, Sur Lees for 15 months, then held for 12 months in bottle.

Food Pairing

Sip as an aperitif. Pair with ages goat cheese, sautéed scallops, roasted vegetable pizza, and a decadent 50% milk chocolate treat.
