Growing Conditions
The Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes were grown in Pope Valley at an elevation 715 feet on the Whisky River Ranch Vineyard using sustainable farming practices. Hot daytime temperatures ripened the fruit to perfection and cool 55 degree nights maintained beautiful acidity.
Harvested in late August 2013, the fruit was allowed to fully ripen to create our style of white peach and pear aromatic Sauvignon Blanc blended with 15% Sémillon. The vintage year of 2013 had the perfect in number of heat days and dry, warm harvest weather, which leads to stellar wines.
