Palate
There is a magic to Diamond Mountain, not unlike the magic that Roald Dahl evokes in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Though lacking the Oompa-Loompas, Diamond Mountain always has something new to discover, and the appellation has a certain joy, as many of the characters that shine through in the wine carry hints of cocoa. The 2011 is no riddle for you, with flavors of rich black fruit, chocolate-mint, and toasty oak with a rich mouthfeel and soft tannins.
