Growing Conditions

Small berries mean big fruit - a trademark of mountain-grown grapes. This vineyard, with perhaps the southernmost vines in the Mt. Veeder AVA, produces a focused, herb-tinged Cabernet with fine tannins and a long, elegant finish. The hillside location of this vineyard is ideal for Cabernet, as it sits above the fog line, enjoying warmer days and cooler nights.
