Palate
Phenomenal structure demands attention, while the palate explodes with concentrated fruit. Despite its heft, the wine is also supple, expressing flavors of blueberry, plum, cherry and forest floor.
Growing Conditions
The Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the massive blockbuster from a vintage that produced nothing but massive blockbusters on the ranch. The blend is 77% Rock Arch Cabernet, with its characteristic blue-black hue and powerful but ripe tannins, blended with 14% Rim Rock Cabernet, 8% Carolyn’s Cabernet, and just 1% Petit Verdot to add brightness and balance.
