Nose

Dominant notes of raspberry, red currant, and black tea, along with subtler notes of licorice and white pepper.

Palate

The first sip reveals vibrant acidity and lots of red and blue fruits. Cocoa powder tannins and a little spicy oak fill out the mid-palate. This is a medium-weight wine, but the finish has surprising power and persistence.
