Nose
It smells as much of blossoms as it does of juicy red plums and cherries.
Palate
The mouth is very flavorful despite its modest extract. It has what I prize in many delicate Pinot Noirs - the flavor of candied orange peels and a succulent overall impression.
Growing Conditions
The coolness of the 2011 vintage is immediately evident when opening a bottle of this Pinot Noir. Actually, it is evident before you open it if you look at the alcohol! We’re in big-red wine country and to be able to make a Pinot Noir this delicate and feminine in balance is a real treat.
