Malbec is loaded with aromas of plum, cherry, mint and violet.
Palate
Aging in the best tight grain French oak barrels provides a bouquet of sweet vanilla and cedar. Palate is bright with flavors of candied cherry and plum with rich mild tannin.
Growing Conditions
Our Malbec is made from grapes grown on the B.R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate Vineyards. A warm growing season and gentle afternoon breezes create an ideal microclimate perfectly suited for growing this classic Bordeaux style variety.
Aging
20 months in French oak.
Food Pairing
Perfect with bacon-wrapped filet mignon, spicy turkey meatballs and penne pasta, or even crusted black pepper pan-fried tofu.
