Nose

This wine exhibits berry aromas of blueberry, raspberry, and a touch of strawberry framed by an earthy bouquet of cedar, black pepper and cinnamon bark.

Aging

Aged 18 months in 50% new and 50% one-year-old French oak barrels.

Food Pairing

Great with a sirloin steak, honey maple ham or even for dessert with a chocolate torte. The richness and pronounced flavors of this wine mean it works extremely well with all but the spiciest Mexican cuisine.
