Nose

An elegant wine with pretty aromas of cherry, raspberry, salmonberry, and mint in surrounded with a bouquet of sweet spicy French oak mocha, cedar, and coffee.

Palate

On the palate it is warm, full of rich supple tannin, and luscious cherry and berry flavors. Finishes with a soft flavorful finish.

Winemaking

The oldest vineyard block at the Olive Hill Estate. Planted in 1973 by Bruce Cohn. Extremely low yield, small concentrated berries produce an extracted medium body elegant Cabernet.

Food Pairing

Pair with grilled chicken, blackened catfish, or teriyaki beef. Suitable for spicy vegetarian dishes like braised tofu with sweet onions and yellow peppers. Also enjoyable with chocolate covered strawberries.
