Nose
It shows youthful aromas of cassis, black cherry and floral hints of violets.
Palate
The oak is well-integrated; it balances the wine’s natural acidity, and provides a bouquet of cocoa, black licorice and tobacco notes. It shows lingering, opulent fruit flavors, an elegant texture and polished tannins in a long finish.
Growing Conditions
This is V. Sattui's seventh vintage of Paradiso, our red Proprietary, Bordeaux-style blend that changes in varietal composition from vintage to vintage.
Aging
19 months in 80% New French Oak, 20% Seasoned Oak.
Appearance
The 2013 Paradiso’s color is dark, ruby red, very “inky” and opaque.
