Nose
Seductively aromatic nose of black truffle, cedar and mulberry and suggestions of mint, dusty earth and leather.
Palate
Deep, focused flavors of black cherry, wild blackberry, dark plum and chocolate, with hints of mineral followed by a generous mid-palate, silky tannins and a long smooth finish. It shows beautiful fruit ripeness, seamless texture, and well-integrated oak and tannin. True to form, it displays the power and elegance that is so characteristic of this vineyard. Drinking beautifully right now, this wine will age for at least 12 years.
