Nose

Bolder and more textured than previous vintages, our 2016 NOMAD Las Piedras Cabernet Sauvignon kicks off with aromas of ripe raspberry, strawberry jam, and crème brûlée.

Palate

Flavors of peaches and cream, mixed berry pie, and browned butter envelope the palate, while the soft, chewy tannins frame the subtle texture of the mouth-feel. The silky, creamy finish is long and lingering, just the way we like it! We recommend drinking this wine now through 2030.

Winemaking

Whole-berry fermentation in stainless steel fermenters followed by wet cap immersion, totaling 25 days of maceration

Aging

22 months in 95% new French oak barrels
