It has fascinating aromas of freshly-milled redwood, brown sugar and earth.
Palate
It has a fruit-sweet attack with strawberry flavors and medium body and length. This is an elegant and expansive rather than powerful expression of Alexander Valley. Decanting suggested. Given proper cellaring, this wine can be enjoyed now or will improve through 2020.
Appearance
Our 2000 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has an almost black hue with some bricking around the edge.
