Nose
Aromatically, it is dominated by non-fruit characters like graphite, tobacco, and violets.
Palate
It is still a structured and tight, brooding wine, with strong tannins. It has a huge upside as it finishes with great persistence and depth. Given proper cellaring, this wine should improve through 2035.
Appearance
Our 2009 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has an opaque red hue.
