Nose
There is a very interesting aromatic profile of mushroom and tobacco, with nuances of bright berry fruit.
Palate
Its entry is balanced and plush, but with slightly lower acidity than typical Silver Oak wines of the era. As the wine proceeds through the palate, it ends with a medium length, strawberry finish. Decanting suggested. Drink now.
Appearance
Our 1988 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium ruby-red color with bricking at the rim.
