blueberry, and huckleberry.

Palate

A thick, dense, and balanced
wine, this Petite Sirah has a velvety, plush mouth-feel. The
palate offers spicy and jammy notes of boysenberry with
hints of earth and minerality, followed by a seamless finish.

Growing Conditions

"Classic" and "perfect" are just two accolades being
bestowed upon the 2012 Napa Valley growing season and
harvest. Textbook conditions saw near-ideal spring bud
break, steady flowering, even fruit set, and a lengthy stretch
of warm days and cool, foggy nights during the long summer
months. Late and light rains held off until Napa Valley's
treasured wine grapes found optimal ripeness, bringing
exceptional quality to the crush pad and into the cellar.

Our Small Lot Collection Peitite Sirah grapes come from
rocky-river soil in the Rutherford Appellation with Oak
Knoll Petit Verdot added to enhance the wine’s textural
balance
