Nose

This is full of toasty oak, spice, cherry fruit and cassis aromas consistent with our Cabernet Sauvignon.

Palate

This vintage has ripe dark fruit flavors plus a little tobacco, earth, chocolate and allspice. After an extended maceration to improve the mouth-feel, a lovely, evolved bottle-aged texture developed, with silky and powerful tannins evocative of our pristine mountain fruit.

Growing Conditions

Like some of our other mountain properties, we manage the powerful and potentially brutal tannins into a rounder, more approachable 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
