Perhaps the spiciest Zinfandel we have produced but also full of dark fruit and even black licorice aromas. A mix of berry, baking spice (nutmeg), sandlewood and cedar mix with the licorice nose.


Dark cherry, blackberry jam, pepper and black tea are in balance with the firm tannin and bright acidity that creates a remarkably long finish. This is a great example of what Zinfandel tastes like when grown in Cabernet country.

Growing Conditions

2015 resulted in a very small crop for our Zinfandel program, exclusively from our Rutherford Dust #1 site. Certified Organically Grown.
