Palate

Dusty plum and cherry aromas lead into full-bodied, well developed flavors of blackberry dotted in black-peppery meat and dusty tannins. It maintains a tread of acidity that allows it to stay bright.

Growing Conditions

Nestled in the mountains above Knights Valley, Speedy Creek Vineyard produces amazing zinfandel. Warm sunny days and mild summer nights provide the ideal climate to allow the grapes to reach their maximum degree to ripeness.

Bottling

Bottled January 22, 2017.
