Nose

On the nose are aromas of black cherries, rhubarb, black currant, licorice, lavender, tobacco and dark fruits.

Palate

On the palate the wine carries a medium bodied weight with velvety integrated tannins. Dark fruits are abundant, along with pomegranate, raspberry, hints of sandalwood and a faint rose petal finish.

Food Pairing

We would recommend decanting the wine for 20 minutes and enjoying with friends and family. Pair with cherry braised duck breast, bbq glazed Wagyu beef, short ribs, pork loin and savory pasta dishes.
