Nose

Nuances of cherry, cinnamon and earthy notes.

Palate

Its medium body is enhanced by ripe mulberries, anise, tobacco and distinctive mineral remarks that only mountain grapes are able to offer. Perfectly balanced and vibrant finish, well-shaped round tannins with an acidity that ends in a delicious soft melody that runs through the palate smoothly

Growing Conditions

2014 was one of the warmest and driest vintages on record, Napa Valley certainly experienced the effects of the drought. There was no frost during bud break which contributed to a strong, early set in the vineyard. Warm days and no rain allowed us to harvest a beautiful crop in early weeks of August.

Appearance

A splendid wine, deep dark ruby.

Food Pairing

Fresh pasta and LMR grass-fed beef ragu or oven-roasted carrots with tarragon
