Nose

Our Chardonnay expresses fruit aroma of banana, pear, white peach, lemon oil, mango, papaya, melon and citrus. Adding to the complexity, the French oak aging is well integrated with the barrel fermentation bouquet of fresh baked bread, angel food, nutmeg and vanilla.

Palate

This wine has great viscosity, depth and an intriguing long finish. The flavors are lively on the palate with pear, citrus, lemon-lime, green apple and fleshy peach. This wine shows great complexity, creaminess, and elegance to compliment many foods.

Growing Conditions

With abundant winter rains we were able to refresh our reservoirs after several years of drought. The summer had a few heat spells where we did employ water and canopy management, to avoid any damage to the fruit. Harvest was warm and earlier than normal.
