Growing Conditions

From the Ferrington Vineyard, we incorporated separate lots made from the Robert Young and Wente clones into this vintage of Les Voisins.

Harvest

The 2015 vintage will be remembered for high quality, lower yields. We had the earliest start to our harvest ever, and our earliest finish. The growing season started out with unseasonably warm temperatures in late winter and early spring. Cooler temperatures in May caused some uneven fruit set that contributed to smaller yields at some of our sites. The quality and purity of the fruit from this vintage produced wines with outstanding flavors and aromatics. We are excited to see our wines from this vintage develop.

Winemaking
