Nose

Our 2014 P2 exudes the beauty of ripe stone fruits, fresh raspberries and delicate white blossoms.

Palate

he palate is soft and luscious with fresh flavors of green melon, white peach red raspberry, and sweet spice. This is the perfect marriage between the floral richness of Pinot Gris and the red fruits and earthiness of Pinot Noir. With a light tannin and long finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2014 vintage started dry but abundant February rain came just in time to break the winter drought. Warm spring temperatures encouraged an early bud break that kept vineyard development ahead of schedule through the entire season.

Harvest

Our harvest was condensed beginning September 3rd and concluding on September 24th. For the first time our Pinot Noir and Syrah harvest overlapped. Abundant sunshine and cool evenings created near ideal conditions for ripe and balanced wines with yields falling in the normal range.

Winemaking

Co-fermented 50% Pinot Gris and 50% Pinot Noir.

Aging

Neutral French oak, 7 months

Food Pairing

P2 is the perfect partner for many summer menus. We recommend enjoying this wine chilled.
