Brandlin EstateHenry's Keep Red Wine

2015 is a vintage of power and concentration, and our Henry’s Keep boasts flavors of black currants, violets, camphor, black tea and rose oil. This is a deliciously complex wine, with layers of flavors that unwind from its black-fruited, mountainous core. The soils, elevation and climate have united in such a uniquely magical way, producing a wine of intensity and ageability.

Brandlin EstateBald Mountain Zinfandel

A gorgeous 2018 vintage produced stunning fruit on Bald Mountain; longer hang time led to terrific flavor and beautifully structured wines. Our 2018 Zinfandel, Bald Mountain is a blend of Zinfandel rounded out with a small amount of Petite Syrah. These two varieties complement one another, resulting in a wine that is forward with dark, jammy fruit displaying notes of boysenberry, black cherry and plum, finishing with firm tannins that give length on the palate.

Brandlin Estate Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Bottle Preview
Brandlin EstateEstate Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2018 vintage was a long, slightly cool season, devoid of heat spikes and late rains which offered ample hangtime through a glorious autumn for the fruit to mature without losing its underpinning structure and true character. The beauty of this ridgetop vineyard is its ability to produce wines of structure and balance. Our 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is the essence of Mount Veeder, a beguiling balance of complex, sophisticated aromatics and fruit intensity wed to a core of taut yet silky tannins. Notes of cassis, lingonberry, black cherry, and crushed cocoa come to the fore with hints of violets, thyme, black tea, and kirsch all layer on a bed of velvety tannin.

Our second standalone bottling of Cabernet Franc invites us back to enjoy what is the most ethereal of the Bordeaux varieties. On our Mount Veeder Estate, our 2018 Cabernet Franc offers briary, earthy, forest floor characteristics, backed by a beautiful amalgam of red and black fruits with an emphasis on the spicy, savory notes. Aged for 22 months in medium toast barrels, the sweet oak supports the fine tannins and elegant turn of this wine.

Our 2018 ThS Cabernet Sauvignon exemplifies the pinnacle of our Mount Veeder estate, crafted using the finest barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine displays an intriguing mix of black tea, walnut, chicory, and violet notes mixed with black currant and dark boysenberry fruit on the palate. Our 2018 ThS, Cabernet Sauvignon has a plush and satiny mouthfeel with inky tannins and ample concentration, ending with a long and sumptuous finish. Named in honor of Thomas Schmidheiny, proprietor of Brandlin, this wine pays homage to the family’s legacy and commitment to crafting world class wine.

Brandlin Estate Old Vine Zinfandel Bottle Preview
Brandlin EstateOld Vine Zinfandel

Crafted from dry-farmed vines first planted to our estate in 1926, our 2019 Old Vine Zinfandel boasts fresh crushed berries, sage, cedar and hints of violet on the nose. This wine is bright and focused on the palate with raspberry and dark cherry notes spiced with bay leaf and juniper. Despite the vine age, the tannins are quite fine and supple offering lovely support for the bright fruit and spice we typically find in our Old Vine Zinfandel.
