Nose

A special selection of clones create a bright, full fruit-flavored Pinot Noir with earthy complexity. Dried plum and black cherry flavors are most pronounced in this 2014 vintage.

Growing Conditions

The Huichica Creek Vineyard (26%) is located in Los Carneros, Napa Valley AVA, close to the San Francisco Bay and is VSP trellised with two clones of Pinot Noir: Pommard 4 on 5C rootstock and clone 2A on 1103P.

The Hibbard Ranch (61%) is also located in Los Carneros, Napa Valley AVA, but it at a higher elevation and farther away from the bay, along Carneros Creek and adjacent to the Mt Veeder AVA. It is planted to the Pommard and Dijon selections on a VSP trellis system.

Booneville Estate Vineyard (13%) is located in the Anderson Valley Appellation of Mendocino County. A cool climate, sustainably-farmed vineyard ideal for early-ripening varieties.
