Palate

The palate is delighted by blackberries and passionfruit. Excellent balance and a long, lingering finish.

A limited-production Rhone Valley variety (thought to be introduced to the Rhone from Spain).

September 5 and October 16, 2014

Aging

A fantastic light bodied red.

Food Pairing

Complex but approachable, this wine is easy when served with lighter dishes; however, the elegance of this wine allows it to easily be paired with many meat and cheese dishes like lamb served alongside a soft Bucheron with a hearty loaf of bread.
