Sourced from old vines in the Sierra foothills. Sustainable farming at its best! Amador Ridge Vineyard is located just outside of Sutter Creek on an ancient mud-slide of red, cobbly-loam soil. The head-trained Zinfandel is grafted to St. George rootstock on an east facing slope, allowing the grower to dry farm in most seasons and to irrigate the vines only in exceptionally dry years.
