Nose

This highly aromatic wine is richly balanced with bright acidity and a silky texture. It exhibits bright elements of fresh sliced apple, white flowers and Meyer lemon zest.

Palate

Notes of tarte tatin, fresh butter and bergamot. The mouthfeel is at once fresh and bright but culminates with the texture of panna cotta that is lush and round.

Growing Conditions

The Musque clone of Chardonnay that creates this wine hails from the Oak Knoll District on the southern end of Napa adjacent to the Mayacamas Mountain range. It gets beautiful morning sun that creates rich, classic flavors and cool shade in the afternoon to preserve the fresh mouthfeel.

Winemaking

Burgundian style.
