With fruit coming from Sonoma Stage Vineyard on the southern Sonoma Coast and from Sun Chase Vineyard atop a mountain in the Petaluma gap, this Pinot Noir is a beautiful representation of what the Sonoma Coast AVA has to offer. Opening with aromatics of nectarine, blood orange, and fresh strawberry, our Pinot Noir boasts a vibrant palate, full and smooth from start to finish. Balanced, soft acid neatly lines the flavors of dark cherry, clove, and plum. Fresh raspberries and lightly toasted French oak are complimented by the slightest hint of graham cracker on the finish.

Our requirement for the resulting wine is simple: it must deliver beyond expectation every time.

Our quest takes us to some of the most respected vineyards across the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Our focus is on vineyard designate wines that exemplify the terroir of their respective vineyards. Our intention with each bottle, is that we fulfill our promise a thousand times over – only the best of the best bears the Stewart family name.

Stewart Cellars begins and ends with family. We are dedicated to making something tangible and enduring, something expressive of each person's gifts.

Founded in 2000, Stewart Cellars is the collaborative project of founder Michael Stewart, his son James Stewart, daughter Caroline Stewart Guthrie, and son-in-law Blair Guthrie. Together, the family oversees all aspects of the winery’s operations: James, an artist who left behind a burgeoning career in television and music for hands-on work in sales, marketing and distribution; Caroline, who leads the day to day operations along with each wine’s development; and Blair, the winemaker who works closely alongside our acclaimed consulting winemaker to capture the signature terroir of Stewart’s premier vineyards and vineyard sources.

For these two generations and for the Stewart clan of tomorrow, the ambition remains the same: respect the terroir, source the best fruit, strive for perfection, and embrace the elegance of the human touch.

Our 2020 Sonoma Mountain Rosé opens with beautiful notes of honeydew and watermelon. Flavors of lychee, lime, and citrus blossom flutter across the palate while simultaneously being framed by broad, zippy acids. Our Rosé is light in color, low in alcohol, and full of flavor making it delightful to drink while remaining uniquely complex.

White

With notes of butterscotch, lemon meringue pie and mandarin on the nose, our 2018 Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay is sure to be a crowd-pleaser! This medium-bodied Chardonnay features flavors of lemon, lime and white peach while subtle notes of French oak give structure to the palate. Full and luscious, the palate is balanced by bright acidity, making this wine perfect to pair with your favorite meal.
