Nose

Opens with a nose of coffee, gingerbread, cassis and dark cherries, then unfolds with aromas of bay leaf, sweet plum,
pomegranate, then cherry, tarragon, rose, iodine, red cassis, cocoa.

Palate

Big, structural but sweet tannins.

Growing Conditions

In Napa in 2013, the stars aligned. The steady warm days and cool foggy nights lingered well into October, making for exquisite slow-made ripeness. The best kind.

Aging

Unfined and unfiltered. 28 months in barrel. French and European oak is used exclusively.
