Growing Conditions
The Prior, in our minds, has always been our paean to a mythical creature: Cabernet Franc in the style of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, unfolding it’s ripe-fruited character in waves of aromatic minerality, powerful fruit and rich depth. In 2015, a warm year in Napa Valley, these nearly dry-farmed vines, planted in gravelly volcanic alluvial deposits at the Frediani Vineyard have provided just that.
