Nose

Intriguing aromas of honeyed herb
tea with spice, minerals, mangoes, and melon, accented by a trace of
salinity, notes of quince, clove and white fig.

Palate

We refer to this as a "red wine drinkers, White". Add to that the
complexity, depth and texture that comes from the extended barrel
aging WITHOUT woody, oaky, or toasty elements. Designed to age!

Growing Conditions

A perfect compliment to the Bordeaux styled Red wines of Cabernet,
Franc, Merlot. This is modeled after the greatest white, Haut Brion
Blanc. This wine was built to age perhaps even better than most of its
red counterparts. This vineyard has a history of long aging with those
from the mid 90's still vibrant, rich complex and balanced in 2016!

Winemaking

Both the Semillon and the Sauvignon Blanc are barrel fermented
separately in specially designed French Oak cooperage made specifically
for these varietals.

Aging

These lots were aged for 14 months on the lees and
stirred weekly. The final blend was put together just a couple of weeks
before bottling. ***Note*** There was NO secondary malolactic
fermentation involved!
