Nose

Super-concentrated nose of blackberry, kirsch, moist tobacco, subtle incense and sandalwood really light up the senses.

Palate

The 2013 equally delivers on the palate, with density, persistence, structure and superb concentration of flavor. The stuffing on this will allow it to age beyond any of our lifespans. Nonetheless, the considerable tannins are velvety and the wine pleasurably rolls around the mouth even at this young age (bottled in July 2015). Classic Pride Mountain flavors of dark ripe berries, a range of baking spice nuances, cedar and mocha.
