Exhibits an intense bouquet of ripe
black plum, red cherry syrup and cassis fruit swirled amongst hints of black pepper,
clove and fresh spearmint.

The velvety palate enters with bold, ripe black cherry, red
raspberry and dark plum fruit supported by smooth tannins and notes of brown
sugar and baking chocolate, with bright minerality and lingering dried plum on the
unwavering finish.

Growing Conditions

2013 was an ideal seaon in Napa Valley, with dry
conditions and a long, sunny summer, allowing even ripening and yielding exquisite,
balanced fruit.

The fruit for this wine was harvested at an optimal level of ripeness
in early October. The berries were hand-harvested at night, carefully sorted and
destemmed to tank, where fermentation took place.

The wine was racked to 90%
new French oak barrels, where it was aged for 26 months prior to bottling.

A powerful ruby-black wine.

Food Pairing

This voluptuous Cabernet Sauvignon would make an apt partner for a
hearty yet uncomplicated dish, such as pepper-crusted filet mignon with roasted red
potatoes. Additionally, try pairing this wine with Tomme de Savoie, a nutty, semi-soft
cow’s milk cheese from France, for a memorable cheese course.
