Nose
Abundant notes of blackberries with layers of toasted oak.
Palate
On the
palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and ripe with blackberries, licorice
and cocoa. The dense fruit flavors and well-structured tannins deliver a long
and balanced finish. Enjoy now, or cellar for 10 to 12 years.
Growing Conditions
2012 was the ideal growing season in the Napa Valley. A mild spring led to a
good fruit set, followed by summer and fall seasons that brought warm
temperatures free of heat waves. The fruit enjoyed a long, slow ripening,
indicating early that the wine produced would be dark, rich and age worthy.
Aging
28 Months; 100% French Oak, 75% New.
Appearance
Our Rutherford Estate Cabernet Sauvignon shows a gorgeous dark purple
