Nose

Great classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of black
fruit, coffee, and chocolate lead into rich layers of ripe berries,
nutmeg, black pepper, and caramel

Palate

Velvety and well-balanced, with
approachable tannins and beautiful oak integration, this is a wine to
be enjoyed for years to come.

Growing Conditions

We blend Cabernet grapes from four different vineyards, three in
the Coombsville appellation, in order to achieve a perfectly balanced
and structured wine. Coombsville is one of the newest, and most
promising, appellations in Napa with a temperate climate which
allows for longer and slower ripening. Grapes from Oak Knoll’s
warmer climate add a touch of richness to the wine and contribute
to the smooth and elegant texture.

Vineyards: Frog Tree, Carpignano, Linda Vista, and Toth

Aging

This wine is aged for 24 months in 55% new French oak barrels and
bottle-conditioned for 12 months. This extended aging allows for
the tannins to soften and creates a rounded mouthfeel.

Food Pairing

It’s Cab - where’s the beef? Besides the obvious ribeye we dream of
every time we drink this wine, try braised lamb shanks with creamy
mashed potatoes, eggplant Parmesan, and gingerbread for dessert.
