Nose

Our 2014 El Llano exhibits a bouquet of dark cherry, violet, rich leather, and toasted vanilla

Palate

A surprisingly silky mouthfeel. Additional flavors of fig, plum, and cinnamon convey richness. The velvety palate with well-rounded tannins carries through an elegant and long finish.

Winemaking

The key to this blend is allowing the grapes to become harmonious. Twenty months of aging is the perfect amount of time to create an approachable, fresh, and fruit-forward wine.

Aging

50% new French oak for 20 months.

Food Pairing

This is the kind of wine that makes you want to snuggle up next to a fire for a romantic dinner of juicy steak, cheesy gnocchi, and a chocolate tart for dessert.
