Nose

Swirling the wine in your glass, aromas of black currant, ripe berries and baking
spices greet you as you take a breath.

Palate

Upon tasting, the flavors begin softly and
move to a broad mid palate with notes of dark cherry and sage. A moderate finish
shows well developed tannin and leaves a hint of dark chocolate and sweet oak
behind. With proper cellaring, this wine will evolve beautifully for the next 10 to
15 years.

Growing Conditions

Drawn from top Napa vineyards including Stagecoach and Kenefick Ranch. All indications are that the 2012 vintage will be a memorable one, thanks to a
classic growing season which gave us excellent quality as well as generous yields
in all varieties. Vineyards: Stagecoach, Kenefich Ranch, Rancho Chimiles, Salvador.

The
extended growing season in 2012 was ideal for flavor and tannin development and
retaining acidity.

Harvest

Harvest ran at a moderate pace until the middle of October, but
ramped up through the end of the month requiring long days and nights in the
field and on the crush pad in order to bring everything in at optimal maturity. Our Napa Cabernet bottling is always blended with other Bordeaux varietals for
their added aromatic and balanced tannin contributions.

Winemaking

Our
Cabernet Sauvignon is handpicked and undergoes a triple sorting upon arrival
at the winery. The grapes then undergo an extended maceration and a long, cool
fermentation for increased flavor, color and aroma.

Aging

Aged in 30% new French oak barrels, the wine matures for 18 months before being deemed ready for release.
