Nose

A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petite Sirah, this well-structured wine has enticing aromas of currents, violets and black cherry’s wrapped up in a cedar box.

Palate

Complex on the palate, that begins with a hint of anise and leads to juicy red berries touched with black pepper and finishing with supple tannins.

Growing Conditions

The 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the West
Side of the renowned, St. Helena sub-appellation including both valley
floor and hillside fruit. Petite Sirah from rocky river beds in Yountville
was added to give layers of complexity and plush tannins.

Harvest

Grapes were harvested in October.

Winemaking

fermented for three weeks at warm
temperatures for optimal flavor and tannin extraction.

Aging

The wine was pressed off skins and aged in 50% new French oak until bottling
