Nose

A bouquet of blueberries, blackberries and violets.

Palate

The dark fruit flavors provide a complex mouthfeel, and a lingering finish of brioche and cocoa.

Growing Conditions

Most of our cabernet sauvignon from this vineyard goes to Pine Ridge Winery, but we keep back a select amount of fruit for a limited bottling of 100% estate grown, single vineyard LOBO Cabernet. This is our second vintage made by Victoria Coleman.

Winemaking

The wine is custom crushed at a facility just south of St. Helena. The fruit is hand-picked, of course, and gently pressed.

Aging

Aged for 18 months in 75% new French oak barrels from Baron, Taransaud, and Seguin Moreau.

Appearance

The wine has a dark ruby hue.
