The estate-grown fruit is handharvested, undergoes 21 days of skin contact, followed by aging for 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels from Baron and Saury.
A true "Napa Valley" Pinot Noir from our estate vineyard in the Oak Knoll District.
The Merlot rows on Atlas Peak generally provide plush, round fruit to complement the intense hillside Cabernet Sauvignon we grow. Carefully farmed and stewarded into wine on its own, it's inherently well suited to be its own, standalone wine. It was aged in one-time used French oak barrels for 18 months.
